My last week this semester was awesome I must say. Almost as kick back as the first week. A circular path that coincides well. Monday I arrived at school at about 8:00. I didn't have class til 11:00 and that was for a math quiz. I sat in the open desk at the library instead of the cubicle. Big mistake. Drew spotted me and we ended up talking politics for about an hour and a half. I got a phonecall from Dan Tipton, who was bored and just got home. I told him I had a busy week and couldn't study. Mike Z dropped by to pay me a visit. I'm beginning to see our friendship really come together. He tells me about life and what's going on with him, down to details. He's going back to work after taking a month off. He had some department conduct an investigation on his boss about illegal activity and the department suggested he take time off. Also, his cousin broke up with his fiance and is now crying on his shoulder. I told him that it is great to help family, but don't make his problems your own. Eventually, I got back to staring at a book blankly. What? study? Hell no, i can't do that. I had a history test the next day. I had to read three articles, finish reading "Born on the 4th of July," and memorize 50 states and their capitals. No sweat. Took me a couple of hours, but I finished it up. Had my math quiz. The quiz was on the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. I memorized the formula and the proof, which she explained only minutes before the quiz. 30 out of 25, a perfect score, with extra credit. I hadn't scored that high since the first quiz. I also helped Cip study before class. I gave him my notes, I didn't follow up, so I hope it helped. Tuesday was the history final, 7 AM. The states and capitals whizzed through my head, it was like clockwork. The second part, 5 questions for each article. A couple of questions were confusing, but by taking notes on each section, I reinforced my reading, which prepared me for my test. The last part was an essay on "Born on the 4th of July." I had a thesis developed, but no evidence to prove it. So I jotted down some ideas and went with it. The intro was so well written and it flowed like I had practiced it for days. For some reason, my ability to pull bullshit out of thin air was very powerful that day. I wrote possibly the best unprepared essay I have ever written. I talked about the search for truth, question, and drive are all part of the American way, playing off of the United States propoganda to support the war, which was the American Way during Vietnam. If my ideas were not well written, the presentation alone deserves a high grade. I guess cheating was high on the last test, so the professor had the class exchange blue books. Mrs Roberts just had to have a class picture, so we posed infront of the stairs outside. I will really miss that class. It was fun. I also stopped by the community service office to speak to Alice. I had called Queency, the volunteer coordinator for Americare about volunteering opportunities. She hadn't responded back, but I knew that was the organization. I gave her some of the paperwork. She gave me to CRN number for HD499c, Community Service, so I could sign up for the class. I also had a flu shot that day at 3. I got the last one. So I went in, a little bit late, got the shot, waited, then left. No problem. Vaccinated. Visited Nana's for a bit. Stopped by just to say hi. That night I went to see Lord of the Rings, Return of the King at the midnight premiere. Tony, Ben, Eric, Shaz, and Bret were already waiting for me. The line wrapped around the building in two directions. There was some cold pizza, but not much snackage. The theatre ppl felt bad about us out in the cold, so they let us in two hours early and we watched next years previews for 55 minutes. The movie was a staggering 3 hours, 20 minutes. I spotted Clay, Mikhail, Dan Powell, Dan Brucks, AJ, Jason, and Andy Beck in the lobby outside. I got the headbutt hello from Andy and Dan Brucks tried to double-tap me. I didn't get home til 4 AM Wednesday morning. I woke up the next morning at 8 AM, after a 23 hr day. I went for a 9 oclock interview at Americare. I found the place without too much difficult. I took the tour, met some people I would be working with, and then signed some paperwork. I'm working in the nursing department, checking vitals and administering medications. It says in my job description that I might have to bathe patients, but I hope it doesn't come to that. Returned to school to turn in the job description and other paperwork. The rest of the day I was supposed to be studying for spanish and finishing my paper. I studied a little bit. I ran into Chris and we walked around campus, checking out the fieldhouse, saying hi to everyone I recognized. Now I know why I need not get distracted. I know everyone and stop to talk. I can't help it anymore. I ended up going home at 4, studying very little to nothing. I finished the paper in half an hour, so I was in good shape. My final was at 7 AM the next morning. Spanish was alot easier than I thought. 7 pages, but two written parts, future, conditional, por vs para, no fault se, and subjunctive, just like the book. I didn't get Jamie's #, she just didn't show any interest in having a relationship. She's too caught up in her work and school to care. Went shopping later that day for some perfume for Cindy for the gift exchange. Head out to the mall, as much as I hate to go. I found this place called Perfume Gallery. Who was working there but Sanna, a girl from my history class. We talked about school for awhile before I bought some Michael Kors. It was a $55 bottle, but I talked her into giving it to me for $50. I had to keep it under 50, the rules. I also picked up some neck scarfs for Nana, my other secret santa. $48. Damn expensive for two neck scarfs. So I got the gifts and headed over to Nana's. I dumped her trash and brought back Carls Jr for myself. Nana didn't want anything. She's still getting better from her last cold. Friday morning at 11:30 was the motherfucker that was going to ride me. The math final. This bitch was hard. 11 pages. 300 pts. That's 10 pts/question. I left two questions blank, dammit. That means the best grade I can get is 93%. So I know I don't have an A in the class. I would have to get 270 to get an A-. I'll have to wait. I'm just glad finals are over. Everyone is down, but most of them are sick or brought germs with them. I have another gift exchange next tuesday at Dan Tipton's house. Saturday the family went over to Nana's to make tamales. Only Nana, me, mom, dad, missy, tina, and tanya were there. Everyone else was sick. We made about 300 tamales in 3 hrs. Some beef, some green chile. Come Christmas, these will be the most expensive food item there. I'm stoked about Winter Break and seeing all my buds. I'm trying to plan a trip to Disneyland with Dan, but my dad's not having it. Oh well. Metallica tix went on sale Saturday for March 15th at the Forum in LA, but they sold out before I could get my hands on some. Dammit! Take care and happy holidays. Hughes and Kisses, ppl. Peace, love, and harmony. Late.

Sup guys and girls. I'm only a week away from my last post. Last week was the easiest week of school I have had since the week school started. I missed the study session with Mandy on Sunday. Yeah, I got bitched at by her the next week. Christmas decorations, you know? Tuesday was my dad's birthday, so after class, I headed over to Nana's to pick up his present, then went to Hallmark to pick up a $2 card. I also did this alcoholedu online course for GEL so I could get the 100 pts extra credit. Took me 3 hrs to finish it. I missed four questions in the final exam. Turned that in along with my final campus involvement paper, which was about the whiteness forum on campus. The forum was a series of posters and displays about white privelege and how no matter how much money somebody makes, whites still dominate people of other races as far as laws and priveleges are made. I took a 1965 Alabama Literacy test. I failed, only 1 answer short of passing. The test was not based upon reading ability, but literacy of politics. Whites wouldn't take the test because of the grandfather clause, their grandfathers were white. I went around looking at all the presentations and then left. I scheduled a flu shot for next tuesday because of the dangers of the enfluenza chain this fall. Some girl in San Marcos died. I got the last one, so i'm incredibly lucky. Tuesday was awesome. For my dad's b-day, we got some tickets to WWE Smackdown televised professional wrestling event at the Sports Arena. The seats were perfect, straight middle, eye level with the ring. The pyro was loud. Mom jumped a couple of times. I really enjoyed it, being close is alot different than watching it on tv. No commentary and sometimes it's hard to hear what the wrestlers are saying. Didn't get home that night til about 11:00 PM. I discovered for history, the final is based upon the readings of "Born on the Fourth of July," a book nobody has begun to read. We have an essay prompt and everyone is flipping out. I like the book, it's about a vietnam war veteran who comes back a parapeligic. After History class, we went out front of the steps because Roberts just had to have a class picture. I had asked out Jamie from my spanish class, but she was apparently busy this weekend going to some play or musical down in San Diego. Damn. Well, fuck it, I tried, but i'm getting her number before class is over. I've already finished the final in GEL, so I'm not going back to class. GEO, I'm dropping off the final Saturday morning. My schedule for next semester is fucked. I can't take any chem or bio classes because they're only offered in the fall and i'm not taking the courses at Palomar. I can't take CS 111 because there is only one class and it conflicts with the only physics class available. I have to take Calc I even though I'm already taking Calc II right now, I need to have the credits for a biochemistry major. I need to take HD499C, but I have to go into the Office of Community Service to get one and I haven't found an organization to participate in. So i'm fucked and I need to crash classes because I registered late and availability of classes is down because of multi-billion dollar tax cut to the CSU's courtesy of California Governor Arnold. Friday was awesome, I spent the day night and morning with Ben, Tony, Bret, Shaz, Eric, and Courtney. I brought the equipment over and we jammed for a couple of hours. Then Shaz went home with Bret and we played Halo. Took a break, watched red vs blue episodes, from trailer to end of first season. Went back, played some more halo, ordered pizza. Watched some tv for awhile and just talked about stuff. Then we all went to Edwards in San Marcos to see the Last Samurai with Tom Cruise. The BEST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME. Absolutely brillant. I want to see it again. Ben, Erik, and Tony teared up a bit. After the movie, Erik took Courtney home and we all agreed to meet at Erik's house cause Ben's mom threw us out. We needed an extra control and Target was closed, so we were off to Blockbuster. They didn't have any controllers, but they called the other store and they had tons. It was almost closing, and we hauled ass over there to get one. Erik's place was nice. Played some more Halo for awhile, then went down to Jack in the Crack and 7-11. Some peeps infront of us had an SUV full of ppl. Some got out and were walking around with drinks in their hands. They were all clearly drunk. The problem was they had a $47 order. 4 bags full of food. Took half an hour. After a quick 7-11 run, headed back and ate. By then it was 2:40 in the morning and I had to get home. So I said goodbye. They offered me Courtney's ticket to Return of the King on Tuesday at Midnight. I told Tony I would call him. So I had an awesome week and here I am studying for finals. Yay, bullshit. I've got alot of stuff to do, so I'm going to cut this entry a bit short. Besides, Armaggedon is on PPV today at 5. Alright, wish me luck next week. The goal: 4.0 first semester. I can do it! Alright, late.

Sancho: I am still awesome!

I'm still, I know. It's hard cause I keep busy now. I might just this shit off at the semester break. I hope to keep going til May next year, but doesn't look like that's going to happen. Two weeks went by, it's going to be hard. I'll try. So I was supposed to go the AZD AKO TKE SAE Greek BBQ happening at school on Sunday. DIDN't. Oh well. Got my GEL final, an at home essay of what you plan to do with what you learned next semester. I laughed, typed it in about an hour. Cake. Ran out of toner cartridge, headed down to Office Depot. $22 so I could print my homework. Meh. I'm now doing office hours with Puha. I realize if I want an A in her class, I'm going to have to excel in these next couple of tests. It's not going to be easy. I took one test on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and bombed it. 93/150. DAMN! I have to ace the final to get an A in the class. Had the last Yellow Ribbon Meeting this week. I gave it alot of thought and decided I would accept her decision to fil her position to become president of the club. For now, i am co-president. Luan thought this would be a better idea. Talked about next semester, what we could do to promote the club. I thought about doing the concert that Gabe explained. Good PR for the club week the week after. And, I brought up new student orientation next semester and having a table out in Chavez plaza. More tablework. Great idea, so planning for that. Lindsay and I are attending a seminiar in Orange County about student health issues in mid-February. So we said goodbye til next semester. Wednesday, no GEL class. So I had a huge break between, which I should have spent studying, but I turned in some Yellow Ribbon forms for paying Luan. The GEO quizzes are getting easier. It's really sad. Didn't read, missed 1 question. Thursday was Thanksgiving over at Rose's. Whole family was done. Even the kids. Except both Tomas and Jessica were sick, so I got my cold from either or both of them. Played Basketball with my cousins Alfie and Tony. Two of them are 30 and 36. Still got game, but I showed them where I come from. Dinner was great. Plenty of food, I got my turkey leg and candied yams, so I was set. Tanya was getting singled out by her sisters about something, so she was real upset. I told them to knock it off. Good all and all. No calls, cause I don't get reception out there. Escondido is out of range, for some reason. Friday was awesome. My dad hooked up wit some tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood. I hadn't been in 4 years. Got there around 9 AM. New Shrek 4D motion show. Real funny stuff. T2 terminator and Jurassic Park. Lot of asians there, as usual. It was a great day. Glad I went back. I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and a biscuit. This chicken place in the park. Expensive, but good. Later that night, I was throwing up from a stomach ache. Saturday night I went with Dan Titpon to a Clippers/Nuggets game at Staples Center in LA. I guess Dan's uncle or cousin went with us. He had this [sic] used Mercedes Benz with custom sound system. I guess his wife drives it too and she has here rap music. She's got taste, I never met the girl, but i'll give her that. What Dan didn't tell me is his dad's boss has got the hookups. We had this nice skybox suite next to the doublesuite, for the owner of the LA Lakers. Free everything in there. All the liquor you could want. Had a corned beef sandwich with old-school potato chips. Then this dessert tray comes by knocking on our door. I get a slice of chocolate cake. So sweet. The game sucked. Clippers are worst in the league and Nuggets suck less. No wonder LA supports the Lakers, every town needs a winner. This suite on the middle floor is the hardest to get, it's about a half million a season. The rest of the weekend I helped parents with christmas lights and the train setup. Took us only a couple of hours, a new record. Finished my GEL project at the last minute for presentation on Monday. I had been working on it last Saturday, five hours for the powerpoint. Except the floppy disc I put it on failed when I tried to load it. My group was pissed off at me and I looked like a jackass. We still got 180/200, but I was pissed off. I broke the floppy in half and threw it in the trash. Now I use nothing but cds. I had to send Poggi the prensentation via e-mail to get the grade. I had this new presentation in GEO, a followup speech to provide a solution to the previous speech, gang violence. I had to do this questionaire for the class. So I wrote one up tuesday night and distributed wednesday. Then I made time Thursday afternoon to research my speech. I wrote the speech Thursday night. I never memorized my speech, but I put it on note cards and had a few visuals to help the speech. i knew what I needed to say. It went over very well. Finished up my LAP for ELP. I barely got three pages in time for Wednesday, up to last minute. I made it on time, I guess everyone else got stuck in San Marcos traffic. This nice Thai food place called the King and I. Everyone was dressed up really nice. The food was great, alot of Currie and Okra, though. Not spicy. For dessert, I had fried bananas wrapped in pastry dough. Delicious. I presented and it was good. At the end of the night, we got these crystal transparent plaques from ELP. VEry COOL. So that's it for leadership. Looks like I have to prove what I have got from now on. Registered for classes next semester on tuesday. Sort of. I couldn't get this classes I wanted, so I picked some classes just so I could be registered for next semester. I might have to crash most of my classes. My parents are getting on me and I hate it. I told them to back off, cause I have got it handled. I pay for it anyway, why are they still telling me what to do. It frustrates me. I wish they would just get off my case. I visisted LCC Tuesday. The principal's secretary would not give me the teacher's class schedule because I am not supposed to disturb teachers. So I walk out of the office onto campus and go anyway. My teacher's classes haven't moved, luckily. Talked with McCormick, Davis, Buck, Lax, Emmerson, and deBoer. I came for the debate students. I get a round of applause from the students, which was nice I guess. So I'm judging Friday and Saturday. After doing office hours with Puha on Thursday, I rocked the quiz. I was so happy. I know I did good. Mandy and I scheduled study time on Sunday, but I didn't have time so I couldn't go. She's going to be so mad. I better be ready to apologize to her. I could have gone snowtubing at Big Bear on Saturday, but I was judging a debate tournament. Christmas Classic is the biggest tournament in SDC. So I was there Friday from 4 PM to 10 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 9 PM. Actually ran on time, believe it or not. But all these novices just bitch and whine about everything. Real disappointing. After the tournament, Luis and I headed over to Pac Q's to play some pool. PLayed fro about two and half hours at $31. DAMN expensive. Hit up Jack in the Crack after for some burgers. Took him home. Won't be the last time LCC sees sancho. I'll be back, fo sho. That's my two weeks, really. Finals in two weeks. Talk to ya later. Season's Greetings. Peace and love. Late.
